Major introduction: The electrical engineering and automation major is one of the two undergraduate majors in the School of Automation. The artillery follower system major (motor drag) was established in 1956. In 1978, the industrial automation major with motor drag as the mainstay was established. In 2002 The electrical engineering and automation major was established. In 2011, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to implement the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan". In 2013, it was renamed the electrical engineering and automation major. In 2018, it passed the engineering education professional certification (valid for 6 years).
