Terms of Service

1. Scope of These Terms

These Terms apply to your access to and use of HanQiao's website, student or partner accounts, free AI assessments, school and program matching, application support, scholarship support, document uploads, payments, advisor coordination, and related products and services.

Certain services may also be subject to separate order details, checkout disclosures, campaign rules, refund rules, or written service agreements. Where those documents apply together with these Terms, they should be read together. If a more specific written agreement governs a paid service, that more specific agreement will control for that service scope.

2. Services and Service Boundaries

• HanQiao may provide free AI assessments, program matching, school search tools, application support, scholarship support, advisor coordination, progress tracking, document management, visa or arrival support, and related information services;
• The scope, pricing, delivery method, timing, and eligibility of any service are determined by the applicable service page, checkout flow, order confirmation, or written agreement;
• HanQiao provides information, tools, coordination, and execution support, but does not guarantee school admission, scholarship awards, visa approval, housing outcomes, or other third-party decisions;
• Some services depend on schools, institutions, payment channels, external platforms, partners, or regulators, and may therefore be affected by their rules, timing, systems, and policy changes.

3. Accounts, Eligibility, and Account Security

• You must ensure that your registration and account information is accurate, complete, and kept up to date;
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials, verification methods, login email, and device security, and for activity under your account;
• You must promptly notify HanQiao if you become aware of unauthorized access, suspicious activity, or a security incident involving your account;
• We may require verification or limit, freeze, or suspend access where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, identity anomalies, or security risks.

4. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Conduct

• You must provide timely, complete, and truthful information and documents required for assessments, applications, payments, identity checks, and communications;
• You must not submit false, forged, misleading, infringing, unlawful, or unauthorized information or materials;
• You must not use HanQiao's website or services for fraud, unlawful admissions activity, money laundering, spam, malicious attacks, abusive scraping, reverse engineering, infringement of others' rights, or other unlawful conduct;
• You must not bypass HanQiao's technical limits, access controls, or security protections, or interfere with the normal operation of the platform;
• If an application or service is delayed or disrupted because your information is inaccurate, incomplete, late, or not cooperatively provided, you remain responsible for the resulting consequences.

5. Applications, Schools, Scholarships, and Third-Party Decisions

School admission, scholarship awards, visa issuance, housing arrangements, payment approvals, and other third-party outcomes are independently determined by the relevant school, institution, authority, or external service provider. HanQiao does not guarantee any admission, scholarship, visa, housing, or other third-party result.

HanQiao's recommendations, assessment outputs, application support, document guidance, and process coordination are intended to improve transparency and execution efficiency, but they are not promises or guarantees of a specific outcome.

6. Payments, Orders, and Service Start

• The price, currency, service scope, delivery trigger, and payment method for paid services are determined by the applicable checkout page, order confirmation, service page, or written agreement;
• Unless otherwise agreed in writing, services generally begin after successful payment and HanQiao's order confirmation, provided you have supplied the basic information or materials needed to begin;
• Some transactions may be processed by third-party payment providers, and you may also be subject to their terms and conditions;
• HanQiao may suspend related services where an order cannot continue because of payment failure, chargeback, refund dispute, account abnormality, or compliance restrictions.

7. Refunds, Adjustments, and Service Agreements

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, refunds, service adjustments, rescheduling, re-performance, service credit, or other remedies are governed by the rules shown at checkout, the applicable order terms, the stated refund policy, and any relevant written service agreement.

School admission results, scholarship outcomes, visa decisions, policy changes, third-party refusal, personal choice, missing materials, inaccurate information, or other circumstances not caused by HanQiao's confirmed operational fault do not by themselves create refund rights.

8. Intellectual Property and Platform Content

All intellectual property in HanQiao's website, platform, brand assets, interfaces, designs, written content, database structure, software, recommendation logic, and related materials belongs to HanQiao or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

Subject to these Terms, HanQiao grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the platform only for lawful personal or internal business purposes. You may not copy, distribute, adapt, sell, publicly display, or otherwise exploit HanQiao content or technology without written permission.

9. Third-Party Services and External Links

HanQiao may integrate with or link to third-party services such as sign-in providers, payment processors, messaging tools, cloud infrastructure, school systems, or partner websites. Those services are provided by their respective operators and are subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and operational rules.

HanQiao does not warrant the availability, accuracy, compliance, or continuity of third-party services and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, is not responsible for losses caused by their outages, delays, errors, policy changes, or independent conduct.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HanQiao provides its website and services on an "as is" and "as available" basis and does not warrant uninterrupted service, error-free operation, complete accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or achievement of any specific outcome.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HanQiao is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, goodwill loss, or losses arising from third-party decisions.

If HanQiao is found liable for a claim arising out of or related to a service, HanQiao's aggregate liability will, to the fullest extent permitted by law, be limited to the amount you actually paid to HanQiao for the specific service giving rise to the claim. For free services, liability is limited to the minimum extent required by law.

11. Suspension, Termination, and Updates

• You may stop using HanQiao's free services at any time, but whether a purchased service may be terminated and what consequences follow will depend on the order terms, refund policy, or written service agreement;
• HanQiao may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts or services if you violate these Terms, create security or fraud risks, act unlawfully, fail to pay applicable fees, or otherwise threaten the interests of the platform, partners, or other users;
• HanQiao may update these Terms to reflect legal, regulatory, technical, business, or product changes. The updated version will be posted on the relevant page and will take effect on publication or as otherwise notified.
