Bachelor’s in Information and Computing Science

This major is a new science major formed by the cross-penetration of computational mathematics, operations research and control science. Students in this major mainly study the basic theories, methods and skills of information and computing science, and are equipped with advanced skills in information and computing. Basic abilities and strong knowledge updating abilities in scientific fields such as scientific research, teaching, solving practical problems and software development. This major cultivates professionals with good mathematical foundation and mathematical thinking ability, and masters the theories, methods and skills of information and computing science.
