Bachelor’s in Information Management and Information Systems

The undergraduate major of Information Management and Information Systems at Beijing Institute of Technology was formerly known as the Management Information Systems major. It was founded in 1983 and began enrolling students in 1985. After the Ministry of Education adjusted its undergraduate major in 1998, it was renamed the Information Management and Information Systems major. It integrates the knowledge of management science, operations research, computer science and other disciplines, and refines a new system and method on this basis. After more than 20 years of development, it has formed its own professional characteristics.
