The discipline of theoretical economics summarizes the general law of economic performance and development, under the guidance of the Marxist economics. The study areas of theoretical economics mainly include: (1) the law of development of human socioeconomic activities and its social formation, (2) the history of economic development and the evolution and innovation of economic thought, and (3) the major characteristics and basic properties of economic activities through the abstract analysis and whole synthesis of the empirical realities.
