Adhere to the goal of comprehensive and international training, implement the teaching policy of "combination of basics and characteristics", and cultivate "excellent legal talents" who understand both technology and law. At present, key disciplines based on jurisprudence, civil and commercial law, international law, procedural law, environmental law, and criminal law have been formed. The law major currently has 60 full-time teachers, including 12 professors and 20 associate professors. The law major has launched cooperative training programs with law schools at internationally renowned universities such as Chicago-Kent School of Law in the United States, St. John's University in the United States, George Washington University in the United States, Tilburg University in the Netherlands, and McGill University in Canada. The postgraduate enrollment rate for law undergraduate students in 2019 is 55% (36/66).
