About the Programme
BA (Hons) Business Management (Single Degree) (4+0)/(3+0)
The first year of the Single Bachelor Degree Programme at SBC is the same as the international foundation year (SBC Year 1). SBC’s International Foundation Year is organized and accredited by the educational charity NCUK. When you complete NCUK’s International Foundation Certificate in Business, you will have achieved a firm grounding in British University education with a qualification that is accepted across the world. You will also be automatically enrolled in one of SBC’s Single Bachelor Degree Programmes.
The second year of the Single Bachelor Degree Programme at SBC is the same as the international/UK degree year 1 (SBC Year 2). In Business, SBC’s degree year is organized and accredited by NCUK.
The overarching aim of the design for this course is that it is specialism-centric, academically challenging, and provides a stimulating student experience. Through the systematic study of business management theories and methods, combined with business practice training, this major excavates students' leadership ability, expands students' international vision, enables students to actively deal with the management decision-making problems in the international complex business environment, and carries out students' career planning, improves students' career competitiveness, and cultivates students with modern management basic theory, knowledge and skills, and understanding ability Economy, management, good management, namely with business quality and ability, but also with engineering talents strong logical thinking and hands-on ability of "industry and commerce" combined compound.
The design of the Business Management offer is built around students studying core business modules from Year 1 to Year 4. It is aligned to professional bodies such as the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Where relevant, all modules will optimize professional accreditation.
Fees:
Application fee: 0 CNY
Tuition fee: 80,000 CNY / per academic year.
A total tuition fee of 240,000 CNY for 3+0, and a total tuition fee of 320,000 CNY for 4+0
Age Requirements:
For Foundation year: Applicants must normally be 17 years old by the 31st December in the year that they start the SBC year 1 (International Foundation Year). The applicants who are 16 may be accepted in exceptional cases but such students will have limited progression options. Students under 16 shall also submit the original notarized certificate of guardianship issued by the Shanghai Notary Office and the original and photocopy of the valid identity certificate of the guardian.
For UK bachelor year 1 (SBC Year 2): Applicants must normally be 18 years old at the start of this year.
Academic Requirements:
For Foundation Year: GCSE/IGCSE: Successful completion of 5 modules, including Maths and English, with a grade of 4 or above. (CCCCC for pre-2017 students); IB: 22 points; For entry requirements of the foundation year entry from your own country please contact us for more details.
For Degree year (SBC year 2): A-level: CDD (Maths required for engineering programmes); IB: 24 points; For entry requirements of the degree year entry from your own country please contact us for more details.
English language requirements:
For Foundation year: IELTS 5.0 (with each component not less than 4.5); TOEFL iBT 35 points; Or one of the other equivalent English language qualifications.
For Degree Year (SBC Year 2): IELTS 5.5 (with each component not less than 5.0); TOEFL iBT 46 points; Or one of the other equivalent English language qualifications.
