IMPORTANT NOTE: Students with Chinese nationality can not apply to XJTLU as foreign students, even if they were born outside China. Students with Chinese nationality need to pass the National College Entrance Examination (NCEE), also known as Gaokao, in order to get into a university in China.

Part of XJTLU’s ‘Syntegrative Educational Model’, this Microelectronic Science and Engineering programme is made in collaboration with Standard Science Chip Cloud Microelectronics and Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, at the School of CHIPS in XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang).

By the time you graduate from the Microelectronic Science and Engineering with Contemporary Entrepreneurialism, you will have:
Understand the fundamental mechanisms governing solid-state microelectronic devices and their related application for integrated circuits
Understand the technology and specified processes behind the advanced manufacturing and fabrication of electronic devices
Have in-depth understanding in existing or emerging aspects of microelectronics i.e. circuit design, materials, device engineering and fabrication processes
Use emerging process techniques for the investigation of advanced microelectronic processes and cutting-edge devices
Communicate technical content effectively via reports, academic publications and oral presentations
Educate entrepreneurial leaders with a global vision and the ability to lead future development in the industry
